# Utility and Benefits

Web3 lets us align the individual benefit with the collective benefit:

What we are doing is going to create a lot of future value, i.e. sustainable and equitable space resources. Using a Token or NFT, allows us to leverage the quantitative economic value we are going to create in the future, now.

Governance tokens will give holders the ability to govern not only the project, but the product as well. Presidents spend billions for a 400k job, but the power itself has a qualitative economic value.

Proper token engineering lets us surface this value, as well as realign economic incentives through things like augmented bonding curves\* as one example: creating circular, regenerative economies. *(\*We have incoming capital that gets split between the funding and collateral pool, we have funds flowing from the funding pool to complete proposals and provide value to the community and the world at large, and you have exiting capital which creates this circular flow from the collateral pool into the funding pool, so that you get sustainable funding into your community.)*

> Value of Tokens = Value of the Project in the Future + Power of Governance

In its simplest form, holding a Spacerox NFT is an impact investment you get to heavily participate in. There are all kinds of ways to create additional value, through defi, utility tokens, memberships, etc. But our true value will always come from our ability to build a future for humanity that is **sustainable, equitable, and secured** for all generations that come after.
